Constanza Gomez is the co-founder and CEO of Sortile. She is an industrial engineer and computer science major with an MBA from Columbia Business School. She spent over 4 years researching Latin American retailers where she developed a passion for sustainable fashion and supply chains. In August of 2021 along Agustina Mir, she co-founded Sortile and is currently on a mission to divert textiles from landfills.
Sortile is a textile waste management system that enables the identification, traceability and recycling of textiles. Our mission is to eliminate textiles from landfills by providing data driven tools to reduce the cost of processing and managing post-consumer textiles. Our hardware enabled SaaS device, was designed to leverage the current infrastructure to increase volumes sent to fiber-to-fiber recyclers by increasing productivity by over 5x while our software is the first of its kind to offer real-time data on recycling feedstock and traceability for brands and organizations.
