Cadence OneFive speeds up decarbonization in existing multifamily buildings through data and workflow for retrofit planning and management

Bomee Jung is co-founder & CEO of Cadence OneFive, a social enterprise powering multifamily retrofits from step zero to net zero. A visionary executive and with over 20 years of experience leading transformational sustainability and decarbonization programs in the built environment, she formerly created a $1B+ retrofit construction program at the largest apartment owner in the US. Her expertise spans policy, program design, and implementation, particularly in scaling impact for affordable housing portfolios. She contributed to setting the first green mandate for housing in NYC and to the public housing provisions of NYC’s landmark GHG mandate, Local Law 97.She holds a Master in City Planning from MIT and serves on the NYC Green Economy Advisory Council, the board of the Institute for Market Transformation (imt.org), and credit committees of Capital For Change (capitalforchange.org) and The Community Investment Guarantee Pool (https://www.guaranteepool.org/).

Cadence OneFive accelerates multifamily building decarbonization, reduces costs, and improves decision-making for all stakeholders by delivering market transparency and streamlined workflows for all stages of retrofits. Multifamily buildings, home to a quarter of US households and spending $65B annually on renovations, are at the epicenter of a critical environmental and social challenge. These aging structures expose residents to increasing climate-related health and safety risks while being major carbon polluters, outpacing schools, offices, and hotels.
